We provide comprehensive legal advisory services on obtaining a licence (promise) for conducting business in the scope of: generation of electricity; generation of electricity from renewable energy source installations, including those constituting cogeneration units; generation of energy in cogeneration units; conducting business consisting in the transmission or distribution of electricity, as well as trading in electricity. We provide services to entities conducting or intending to conduct licensed activities in the scope of trading in gaseous fuels, transmission or distribution of gaseous fuels, storage of gaseous fuels, as well as the liquefaction of natural gas and regasification of liquefied natural gas. We also advise on licences for the generation, transmission, and distribution of heat. We serve enterprises intending to conduct or already conducting licensed activities in the scope of generation, storage, transhipment, or trading in liquid fuels.
We advise entities conducting or intending to commence operations in the energy sector. We perform analyses of the conditions for obtaining a licence and documentary requirements. We draft legal opinions concerning the obligation to obtain a licence and its required scope.
We provide legal advisory services at the stage of drafting an application for the granting of a licence. We verify the correctness and completeness of the submitted documents, which helps to shorten the time required to obtain a licence. We advise on matters related to submitting financial securities required by the regulator to secure the claims of third parties, including environmental damage. Upon our clients’ request, we also provide legal representation during proceedings before the President of ERO.
We support our Clients in all cases conducted before the President of ERO, including proceedings for amending the content, restriction, or revocation of a licence.
