Attorney-at-Law at GJW Legal Counsels Law Firm. He specialises in administrative proceedings, matters related to investment processes (construction law), tax matters, and legal assistance in personal matters (private lawyer services). He is an active litigation lawyer, representing clients before common courts, including in commercial disputes, as well as in administrative proceedings.
Mr Jakub Michalski has more than 15 years of professional legal experience, gained while working in attorney’s offices, legal counsel firms, tax advisory firms, and courts. The early stages of his career were connected with managerial positions in government administration bodies, followed by work as an in-house lawyer, then at one of the “Big Four” advisory firms, and later in law firms. He has experience in handling cross-border matters.
He is a mediator at the Mediation Centre of the Supreme Bar Council, a certified mediator at the Economic Mediation Centre of the National Chamber of Legal Counsels, and a permanent mediator in civil and commercial matters listed by the Regional Court in Pozna
He graduated in Law and Administration from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also completed studies in European Law and European Policy at the Poznań School of Management and Banking, as well as postgraduate studies in “Taxes – Tax Advisory” at the WSB University in Poznań. He also attended the University of Cambridge programme “Introduction to English and European Union Law” and postgraduate studies in Insolvency Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In addition, he has completed dozens of courses, internships, and training programmes in various areas of law.
He is entered on the list of attorneys maintained by the District Bar Council in Poznań under number POZ/Adw/3847. Previously, Mr Jakub Michalski was a member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw.
